Thinking about that cottage always makes me smile.

There's other posts here about the family, under the McFarland label. If you click on the name McFarland in the list to the right of the screen they should all come up.

Bill Bill Westhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01266937924453737084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34182491.post-69325370895528204842015-10-14T11:04:34.706-04:002015-10-14T11:04:34.706-04:00Hi Steve,

She's just as beautiful today as she was when that picture was taken. Eventually the cottage was owned by Margie and John. The McCue and Boyd families continued to make wonderful family memories in that cottage until it burned down on winter in the 1980s. A new house is there now and I hope the occupants have as much fun as our families did.
Cheers!
Teri BoydKnitwitTerihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04686879860640305681noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34182491.post-18196210498255111432015-10-08T15:07:39.420-04:002015-10-08T15:07:39.420-04:00Hi Steve,

So I really never knew much about the neighbors there. I'll ask a McCue cousin the next time I see one. :)Bill Westhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01266937924453737084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34182491.post-47027360745579106352015-10-07T08:50:58.147-04:002015-10-07T08:50:58.147-04:00Hi Bill,

I was going through old photo albums last week with my father (he is 84 now) and we had all sorts of pictures of the cottage and family enjoying Houghs Neck (somehow he remembers everything about it). I know the cottage was left to my great-uncle at some point. I live in Ipswich, MA on Little Neck (a very similar water surrounded peninsula) and could never imagine leaving. Not sure if you ever new my family?

Steve ButlerAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34182491.post-31323648392788851962008-06-04T14:48:00.000-04:002008-06-04T14:48:00.000-04:00BILL, How interesting your Houghs Neck summers mus...BILL, How interesting your Houghs Neck summers must have been.
